Training Institute

Key Features:  

  • Short course “Industrial Stitching Machine Operator” of 6 weeks duration (4 Hours per shift), 2 shifts daily (480 trainees in each shift at GTTI QABP, Sheikhupura
  • Training involves stitching the core operation and 9 allied operations of stitching
  • Will cover 100% operations of Denim garments (pants, jackets, shorts, etc.) and 80 % of other garments
  • 688 in GTTI QABP (43 machines of different types/Lab x 16 Labs) (Class Size 30)
  • 6 Batches Annually-(2 weeks gap between consecutive batches)
  • Training for Females will be preferred 9) Theory: Practical Ratio 10%: 90% h) Stipend for trainees Rs. 20,000/ trainee for 6 weeks
  • A PBTE/ TTB Certificate will be awarded to qualifying students
  • Stitching labs and Admin block – Total covered area 62,000 SFT required for GTTI QABP, Sheikhupura
  • Contractual Mode of Employment shall be followed
  • Market-based salary will be offered to employees of these institutes through incentives
  • Pick & Drop facility incorporated for students & staff

Stitching unit

The Garment City encompasses a total area of 90,000 square feet, with each floor covering 3,000 square feet. This well-designed facility features multiple levels, offering ample space for manufacturing, storage, and business operations within the textile and garment industries. Its strategic layout supports efficiency and productivity, making it an ideal environment for industry stakeholders.

Hands-On Training


Led by the Industries, Commerce, Investment & Skills Development Department (ICI&SDD) in partnership with PIEDMC, TEVTA, C&W, Forest, Energy, and Labor Departments.

Flexible Schedule

Each batch runs for 6 weeks, with two shifts per day, accommodating 480 trainees per shift. Six batches are conducted annually, with a two-week gap between each batch.

Stipend and Certification

Trainees receive a stipend of Rs. 20,000 for the duration of the course. Graduates who complete the program will earn a PBTE/TTB certification, a recognized credential in the industry.

Women-Centered Approach

Priority is given to female participants, fostering empowerment and access to employment opportunities.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates will be considered for contractual positions, opening doors to a career in the garments sector.
